Synopsis
Florinda Soriano (Mamá Tingó), Dominican agrarian leader faced landowners, politicians and the military to defend the lands. The indignation and sadness of the Dominican people for the way they were victimized made her an example of a woman fighter in defense of the rights of the peasant.
